Year 5 - Living Rainforest

We had an excellent time on our recent school trip to The Living Rainforest, where the Year 5 children experienced the wonders of a rainforest biome up close! The trip was full of fascinating facts, and the children were captivated by the variety of plants and animals.

Some of the highlights was seeing hissing cockroaches and stick insects—creatures that sparked equal fascination particularly how they use camouflage, sound and the ability to lose a limb to survive in their habitat.

Of course, the biggest highlight was meeting Cinnamon the sloth! Everyone was thrilled to see her , albeit through the leaves and trees!
